REGISTERED PHYSIOTHERAPIST, REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPIST, FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

With over 20 years of experience as a massage therapist, physiotherapist and group exercise instructor, I have developed a strong desire to assist people in becoming the best version of themselves through fitness, health and education. 

I graduated from D’Arcy Lane Institute in 2000 and worked as a Registered Massage Therapist for 10 years in a variety of settings. During that time, I furthered my education by obtaining a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Movement Science degree from the University of Windsor. I advanced by profession in 2007 by completing my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree at Queen’s University. I have been a Registered Physiotherapist since 2008 working in both private clinics and hospital settings. Additionally, in 2012 I traveled to California for specialized certification in Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and focused on treating spinal cord injuries for several years.

In 2014, I opened a home-based, wheelchair-accessible Physiotherapy practice in Bradford, Ontario. I managed the business, built a robust client base and adapted to meet the changing needs of my clients. I treated injuries and developed customized stretching and exercise programs to empower clients to accelerate their own recovery and prevent future reoccurrences. In 2020, after some significant life changes, I moved to Chatham, Ontario where I decided to rebuild my home-based practice. I am excited to be offering physiotherapy services, massage therapy and virtual fitness classes to the Chatham-Kent community. 

I feel energized by leading group exercise classes and helping people become the best version of themselves. What I love most about my job is working with clients and designing exercise programs that enable them to achieve better overall health. Whether that program is to move their bodies, support injury recovery or the prevention of future injury. My programs are designed to target strength, flexibility and endurance for a well-rounded approach to a healthier lifestyle.
